The pinnacle of Pendulum’s educational offerings, the Professional Training Program is designed for talented adolescents and adults seeking intensive, professional aerial training. Students receive a minimum of 21 hours per week of onsite training in aerial disciplines, dance, acrobatics, character work, and specialties such as contortion and duo work. They benefit from an outstanding resident coaching staff as well as a roster of internationally acclaimed guest artists.

The curriculum incorporates public performance opportunities (past students have had the opportunity to perform for clients such as Nike, Intel and Cirque du Soleil), teacher training, health and safety instruction, introduction to proper rigging technique, and direction in individual artistic creation and development. Each performance season culminates in a community performance. This course of study is ideal for the student working towards the goal of establishing a beginning portfolio as an artist.

Each performance season consists of two 19-week terms (Fall and Spring) running from September through June.
