Tanya is a professional aerialist and contemporary circus performer based out of Montreal, Quebec.
A gymnast since childhood, contemporary circus proved to be a more natural outlet for Tanya’s creativity and flexibility. After first receiving her BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she next became a graduate of Montreal’s renowned National Circus School.
Tanya has performed with Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Eloize, Wonderbolt Circus, the Underground Circus, and more, with a versatile career spanning three continents. At 5′ 10″, Tanya brings both elegance and athleticism to every performance. Her unique presence on stage is unmistakable and always captivating.
Tanya’s work as a coach and counselor is a passion that has always paralleled her work on stage. An artist at heart and an engineer in the brain, Tanya’s methods are based on adding brains to the beauty – using technique, organization and management as tools to further artistic expression.

Madeline began her training with Pendulum at the age of 13 in 2006. She came through the ranks first as a recreational student , she then went on to graduate from Pendulum’s prestigious professional training program. She began her professional performance career at age 15 when she began touring with Pendulum’s production of High Art in 2010.
She began her Mongolian contortion training with Alixa Sutton and Tanya Burka in 2009. She then trained with intensively Tsengeee Byamnbordj and Gunnar Field. Having been trained in a variety of different circus disciplines Madeline created her first solo fabric act upon a becoming a company member and recreational coach in 2011. In 2012, after taking a seven months hiatus to travel, she returned to Pendulum to continue to pursue rope and fabric as her primary disciplines.
She is currently living and training in Brooklyn while attending Pratt Institute for Industrial Design. She has continued to train with the best contortion coaches in New York such as Kazu Khan, and Anna Vienzuelos. She performs with Hybrid Movement Company in New York and returns every summer to run our Summer Intensive program. Madi has performed nationwide as an aerialist and contortionist for such clients as Nike, Intel, CDS.
Liv Morrow is a contortionist, aerial performer, and instructor based in Kansas City. Originially from Tennessee, she began dance and gymnastic classes at four years old. By eight she recognized a love for contortion and performing. Halfway through her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at East Tennessee State University, Liv was awarded an apprenticeship at the New York Circus Arts Academy. After graduating from ETSU in 2008, she joined Pendulum Dance Theatre in Portland, Oregon. With Pendulum, Liv trained with world-renowned Mongolian contortionist Tsengelmaa Byambadorj and rhythmic gymnastics coach/ Kooza choreographer Alixa Sutton. Pendulum booked Liv for special events for Cirque Du Soleil, Intel, and the Portland Art Museum. She has toured with Aerial Experience Productions and Celebrity Cruises. In the summer of 2012 Liv, performed full time for the World Expo in Yeosu South Korea. She has also performed internationally with Quixotic.
